WELCOME TO ST. PETER'S

St. Peter’s offers historic worship, Biblical theology, warm friendship (with lots of gatherings and parties!), and a grace-centered atmosphere in which all are loved and none are judged. The people of St. Peter’s come from every kind of background and entertain every kind of perspective, all while being connected in the love of the living Christ and His worship at the Altar.

Whether you are searching for a church home or are simply curious about what an Episcopal church looks and feels like, we would love to welcome you on a Sunday morning. If this is your first experience in a liturgical church (one whose worship follows a structure rooted in centuries of living tradition), some parts of the service may seem mystifying. If this should be the case, you will be surrounded by people who would be delighted to show you what we do in the same way that someone once showed us.

If you ever have any questions, please feel free to call or email me directly. I would be truly delighted to speak or meet with you. Once again, thank you for visiting our website, and we hope we can meet you in person soon.

Faithfully, in Christ,

The Rev. Chris Bowhay

LATEST SERMON

April 14, 2024

The Holy Eucharist is the center of our Sunday worship.

At the same time, sermons can help us to know better the Person Whom we meet at the Altar.

Our sermons are archived. Feel free to print them for yourself or send them to others.

We hope they can help anyone who reads them know more fully the limitless mercy, grace, and love of Our Savior.

MAKING GOD'S LOVE VISIBLE

STEWARDSHIP EDUCATION PROGRAM -
With grateful hearts, O Lord, we give back to you

Through our experiences of pledging, we have learned that giving is a way to show our gratitude to God for the friendships, fellowship, and worship experience we have at St. Peter’s. We give back to God because our hearts are thankful. We encourage you to make an annual stewardship pledge as you consider what you are thankful for at St. Peter’s. Together, we can ensure that our church continues to make God’s love visible in our community.

DISCIPLESHIP HOUSE FOR WOMEN

The Discipleship House is a transitional recovery house that has been in operation for the last 12 years and is supported by various churches and individuals and more recently partnered with FreshSTART to provide recovery assistance.

ALTAR FLOWERS

Altar flowers are a meaningful way to remember a loved one's birthday or anniversary.  If you would like to place flowers on the altar please contact the church.
