Stewardship Campaign 2023
"With grateful hearts, O Lord, we give back to you"
Dear Fellow Parishioners,
As chairs of the stewardship committee, we invite you to participate in our pledge campaign this year. You may have noticed that we started this campaign earlier than usual; this is so the Vestry can better prepare for 2023. Our goal for the stewardship campaign is to increase the number of household pledging participants, and we hope you will help St. Peter’s Episcopal Church achieve this goal.
What is pledging and why is it important? A pledge is a planned financial gift that you make to the church. It is not an obligation, but rather it is an intention that can be changed at any time. Pledging enables the church to plan more efficiently for next year.
We, like you, are thankful that St. Peter’s is growing in so many ways. We are seeing increased participation in our children’s and youth ministry, our outreach efforts, the men’s fellowship, our Daughters of the King chapter, and the team of worship leaders. Our historic church building recently received much needed maintenance with new exterior paint. The beautiful, newly renovated lounge also serves as an inviting space for Sunday School and committee meetings. We need your help to continue to fulfill our mission to support others and ourselves.
Through our experiences of pledging, we have learned that giving is a way to show our gratitude to God for the friendships, fellowship, and worship experience we have at St. Peter’s. We give back to God because our hearts are thankful. We encourage you to make an annual stewardship pledge as you consider what you are thankful for at St. Peter’s. Together, we can ensure that our church continues to make God’s love visible in our community.
